Ballroom Dancing Lessons & Classes
We Believe Dance is for Everyone!
Imagine expressing yourself through sophisticated ballroom dance. You’ve seen the glamour of ballroom dance on TV—now it’s your turn! There is something for everyone in ballroom dancing, whether you are a complete beginner or have taken lessons in the past.
At CSP Dance Studios in Albuquerque, New Mexico we believe dance is for everyone. Remember that ballroom dance does not have to be as complicated as the moves you see on TV. You don’t have to compete—unless you want to! We offer competitive dancing at CSP Dance Studios, but ballroom dancing can simply be a great way to spend your evening, whether it’s in our studio or a night on the town.
Our ballroom dance classes are attended by people for a variety of reasons. Many of our students say they attend for:
- Recreation and exercise
- Body confidence and poise
- Upcoming wedding
- Dating or to meet new friends
- Big events or vacation
- A fun activity with their spouse or significant other
If you want to look and feel your best on the dance floor, take ballroom dancing lessons from our certified, expert instructors. You’ll find our studio to be welcoming and comfortable, a place where you can grow and enhance your skills with instructors who give you individualized attention with fun ballroom dancing lessons.
Ballroom Dancing is Healthy!
Dancing is incredible aerobic exercise, and we like to think it’s a lot more fun than running on a treadmill. Dancing burns hundreds of calories per hour, keeping your heart healthy and toning your body. Not only that, dancing is great for memory as it requires you to remember patterns of steps, keep time and socialize all at the same time. Studies even show that ballroom dancing keeps older dancers fit, alert and social well into their golden years.
Our Ballroom Dance Classes
We offer a variety of ballroom dance styles, from traditional dances like the Waltz and Foxtrot to Latin dances like Cha Cha and salsa. We also offer East Coast and West Coast swing dance lessons. See our dance styles page for more information about the types of classes we offer at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels in both group classes and private lessons. As always, contact us with any questions you have!
